Po' Ramblin' Boys at Lucketts Bluegrass
Lucketts Community Center, Leesburg VA

Originally scheduled for February 17, the Po’ Ramblin” Boys have been rescheduled for a special Sunday matinee performance. They bring their authentic and passionate style of bluegrass to the old schoolhouse stage. Developing their tight sound as the house band at a Smoky Mountain distillery, the band went on to be IBMA’s Emerging Artist of 2018 and to a Grammy nomination for their 2020 record “Toil, Tears & Trouble.” Dressed to the nines, band members include founder CJ Lewandowski (mandolin), Jerome Brown (banjo), Josh Rinkel (guitar), and Jasper Lorentzen (bass). Barn burning fiddler and vocalist Laura Orshaw rounds out the group.

Old School Open Mic!
Lucketts Community Center, Leesburg VA

The DC Bluegrass Union, in partnership with Lucketts Bluegrass Foundation, will co-host an Open Mic at the Lucketts Schoolhouse.

Danny Knicely & Aimee Curl will be available for accompaniment. Sign-up on arrival. YES, there will be jamming in the classrooms!

This Listening Room atmosphere creates a stellar opportunity for local bands, duos, or soloists to create premier video performances on the historical Lucketts stage. The artist can also receive a recording of their performance through Lucketts’ professional sound system while creating a video with the artist’s phone or their own videographer.
