Submit your 4-minute bluegrass, old-time or Celtic video to the VIRTUAL Deer Creek Fiddlers Convention! Submission accepted May 1 – 31, 2024. Categories include guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, special instrument, vocal and young performer.
This competition is judged separately from the IN-PERSON Deer Creek Fiddlers Convention, which takes place on June 2 at the Carroll County Farm Museum.

Justin Heath, lead player of the Bluegrass group Cherry Blossom Special, leads a bluegrass & fiddle tune workshop. The goal of this class is to help students expand their song list while honing the skills required to play with others and be creative while doing it. Each session students will learn 1 fiddle tune and 1 song from the bluegrass repertoire. The class will go over basic lead playing and accompaniment to get started and offer some ideas to take it a little further with embellishments, improvisation, kickoffs, and endings. $25 & Materials will be provided for guitar, banjo, fiddle and mandolin. Ages 14+
