JGCL will perform at the Courthouse Square at noon until the parade begins at 2 pm – everyone LOVES a parade!! Visit businesses in town and the Westmoreland Museum, as well as food trucks and vendors. This day is sure to put a smile on your face!

Seneca Creek Bluegrass is based out of Montgomery County, MD. Inspired by the traditions of the first generation bluegrass musicians, we play hard-driving, traditional bluegrass throughout DC, MD, and VA.
Big Howdy is a DC-based band featuring the duet singing of Dede Wyland and Randy Barrett. The group offers a mix of original songs plus reinterpretations of classic country, bluegrass and roots material. Dede is a nationally recognized vocalist while Randy is a well-established singer songwriter and banjoist. Together with Ira Gitlin on bass and Tom McLaughlin on mandolin, Big Howdy sounds unlike any other band.

A new season of bluegrass concerts begins with a group of seasoned musicians, Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road. From Raleigh, North Carolina, these musicians have an impressive resume between them. Energy, excitement, and stellar musicianship will all be in view on the old Lucketts schoolhouse stage. Doors open 6 pm for first-come-first-serve seating. Adults $22. Youth 5-17 $5. Multi-Grammy nominated Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen is a torrent of mind-blowing bluegrass. The band has performed at the biggest bluegrass festivals including Telluride, MerleFest, Grey Fox, RockyGrass, Delfest, Strawberry Music Festival, Pickin’ in the Pines, and countless more. FS&DK’s respect and deep understanding of the bluegrass tradition collides with fiery virtuosity that pushes the boundaries of the genre.
