Walt’s wide repertoire ranges from old-time Southern Appalachian, to Celtic, to breathtaking original compositions. As a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist he has recorded fourteen albums and instructional videos and has appeared at both the Lincoln and Kennedy Centers. Big Howdy is a DC-based progressive bluegrass band featuring the duet singing of Dede Wyland and Randy Barrett.

This outstanding band, led by Jeremy Stephens and Corrina Rose Logston, interprets classic bluegrass with enthusiasm and freshness. Marshall Willborn, former Johnson Mountain Boy and 4-time IBMA Bass Player of the Year, joins High Fidelity for this performance at the old schoolhouse.
