We currently maintain four monthly jams around the Greater DC area. We work with local musicians to facilitate more than FIFTY JAMS that that approached 1,500 hours of musical opportunity to learn, practice and socialize.

We’ve got 2 recurring  jams in Hyattsville and Downtown DC.  Sincere thanks go to Barb Diederich and Ed Schaeffer for going strong in Hyattsville with the Archie Edwards Blues Heritage Foundation Jam in Hyattsville. You can find them there on first and third Mondays from 7-10 PM.  Word is that you can usually find a member of the Bluegrass Hall of Fame there too.

The DuPont DCBU jam has been rolling for over ten years now and enjoys a cool downtown vibe at the unique and celebrated The Mansion on O & O Street Museum on the first and third Sundays of each month. We thank a dedicated bunch, including Malcolm Versel, Josh Bell, Bill Thompson, Ken Mayer, Rebecca Krafft and Ben Schifman for keeping things rolling at the O Street Mansion all these years!

We are appreciative to both of our host organizations for their assistance  keeping jamming accessible to all. Jamming cuts to the core of who we are- educational for practice and learning and a social connection with the music we love. Make a point in 2023 to get out of the house and jam!

DCBU annual dues provide for recurring support for the venues- each are Non Profit organizations with bills to pay and important music related missions.
